What is Not Today Studios?
Not Today Studios is a creative-tech company helping writers, developers, filmmakers, and digital creatives bring their ideas to life. We create digital guides, software tools, and a growing community for people who want to create — one hour a day at a time.

Is Not Today Studios a publisher or a tech company?
We're a bit of both. We create and sell original e-books, build tools like our QA app (JAMES), and are developing a social platform for creatives (SOMEONE). At our core, we’re about empowering creators.

Who is behind Not Today Studios?
The studio is led by James, a UK-based creative and founder building the company in his spare time, while growing a network of creators, collaborators, and early adopters.

You can purchase them directly through our website store. Our guides are also being prepared for release on Kindle and Apple Books.

All e-books come as high-quality PDFs and will soon be available in ePub format for Kindle and Apple Books.

Yes. Each guide is designed for new and developing creatives, with clear language, practical structure, and flexible pacing.

It’s our core philosophy: that even with limited time, creative momentum is possible. Our guides are structured so that you can make real progress one hour at a time.

JAMES is a no-code quality assurance tool for creatives, developers, and small teams who want to run fast, visual tests on websites or apps — without writing code. A demo version is coming soon.

What is SOMEONE?
SOMEONE is a social platform we’re building for creatives to connect, collaborate, and fund their work. It’s currently in early development — for now, you can join our Discord community to get involved early.
